WiFi in Madison?

Is it possible that TDS Metrocom could provide wireless internet (WiFi) to cover the Madison metro market?  Wouldn't this be great!

This is made possible by TDS Metrocom recently purchasing the radio spectrum of the now defunct skycable.  Why not charge for it, compete with charter and their own DSL (and all matters of dialup - who uses that?).

Most likely far better than the city trying to "provide" it.  Does anyone have experience with their pilot in the Fox Valley?

Guide to Blog's and the New Web

Seth Godin has a free ebook that is a quick effective read.  He explains blogs, rss and why you should care.  It is the most informative and balanced write-up I've seen.

Check it out here or send around the link
